About Summer Isles

The Summer Isles are located about 500 miles south of the great City of Camerondale (It is now a Kingdom). They are islands created by underwater volcanic activity (much like Hawaii). It consists of 3 main islands, with more on the outskirts. One of the islands inhabited actually fell victim to volcanic activity, and is no longer safe to live. The main island is the tourist attraction. Where the people of the World of Legon come to vacation.

Weather

The weather is a typical tropical location. Here are some of the normal weathers:

  • DAYTIME – SUMMER: The temperature gets to be about 95 degrees, but there is almost always a nice breeze coming off the ocean to cool things down. Much like Hawaii and Florida, there is usually a passing T-storm during the day.
  • NIGHT – SUMMER: The breeze doesn’t quit, and the temperature does not dip below 70 degrees.
  • DAYTIME – WINTER: Max temperature for this time is about 85 degrees. Winds are not nearly as prevalent. Less chance of daily T-storms, but possibility of major severe weather is greater (hurricanes).
  • NIGHT-WINTER: It gets a bit chilly as it dips to about 60 degrees but not usually until after High Moon (Midnight).

Population

It is an extreme melting pot. Humans dominate the inhabitants, after that it is pretty even for all the other races.

West Haven

This island is about 40% smaller than the main island and is home to the local inhabitants of Summerset. Workers, guards, etc. No visitor is really allowed here.

The main island and where the tourist go. Beautiful beaches, tons of pubs, restaurants and attractions.

East Haven (Better known as the Sunken Isle)

This is the island that fell victim to volcanic activity. There are abandoned huts, businesses, etc all about. Some burned, some sunk. It is patrolled regularly by the Summerset Isles Guards.

There are many smaller islands and even a few big ones that are around this area of the ocean. Some are just too far away to be populated or be part of Summerset Isles, while others are just too small.
